The principle of American Roulette is easy: you simply bet which number the ball will land on, before the Dealer spins it around the revolving Roulette wheel.
The Basics:
Generally, you will be given different coloured chips to play with. These make it easier for both the Players and the Dealer to see whose chips are whose.
On the tables you will see an oval track which consists of the wheel numbers in order. This is for the Dealer to place ‘Neighbour bets’: a 5 piece wager covering 5 adjacent numbers, two either side of the number you called. For example, for ‘Zero’ the neighbours will cover 3, 26, 32 and 15 as well as 0. If one of these is a winning number the Dealer will place one of the 5 pieces on to that number.
